Zionskirche BERLIN 20 de junho de 2026 Pequena exposição sobre o tema do punk em Berlim Oriental A apresentação do livro tem início por volta das 17h30 «Punk Spirit!» – experiências emocionais e pessoais de artistas punk sobre o tema da espiritualidade neste mundo, concertos ilegais em igrejas, etc. Após a leitura, um concerto com “IM Annika” (com membros de Herbst in Peking, Inchtabokatables, Ichfunktion, Rosengarten), Rosa Beton com Brita e uma banda surpresa com Patti Pattex & amigos.
"Em julho de 2023, conheci John Malkin, o autor do fantástico livro PUNK REVOLUTION, num evento na Zionskirche onde Lesley Woods também se apresentava. Ele publicou agora um novo livro e eu também pude contribuir para ele. Chama-se PUNK SPIRIT. Muito obrigado por isso!
Era exatamente o que eu precisava naquela altura. Depois, ele perguntou-me se eu queria tocar algumas músicas com os CUT MY SKIN.
Como tinha dissolvido a minha banda, perguntei espontaneamente a alguns amigos, e eles aceitaram logo. Por isso, depois de um período difícil, estou ansioso por participar neste evento a 20 de junho de 2026, na Zionskirche, em Berlim.
Claro que sim, vai ser um grande evento com imensa gente fantástica, músicos e, claro, para celebrar o trabalho entusiasta no livro do John Malkin.
Agradeço imenso isso. Também estou entusiasmada porque é o meu raio de um aniversário e vou cantar numa igreja ao regressar ao mundo da música. Que alegria. Obrigado a todos os que estão a tornar isto possível!

John Malkin is a journalist, musician, activist, photographer and filmmaker. He is the author of Punk Revolution!: An Oral History of Punk Rock Politics and Activism , and his interviews and writings have been published in internationally including Adbusters, Punk Planet, Razorcake, Spirituality & Health, Z Magazine, Ode, In These Times, Sojourners, The Sun, Film International, Shambhala Sun, Tricycle, Friends Journal, The Santa Cruz Sentinel, The Monterey Herald, and others. Im Juli 2023 traf ich John Malkin, den Autor des tollen Buches *PUNK REVOLUTION*, bei einer Veranstaltung in der Zionskirche , bei der auch Lesley Woods auftrat. Nun hat er ein neues Buch veröffentlicht, und ich durfte ebenfalls einen Beitrag dazu leisten. Es heißt *PUNK SPIRIT*. Vielen Dank dafür! Das war genau das, was ich damals gebraucht habe. Dann fragte er mich, ob ich ein paar Songs mit CUT MY SKIN spielen wolle. Da ich meine Band aufgelöst hatte, fragte ich spontan ein paar Freunde, und sie sagten sofort zu. Nach einer schwierigen Zeit freue ich mich also sehr darauf, an dieser Veranstaltung am 20. Juni 2026 in der Zionskirche Berlin teilzunehmen.
Hell yeah, das wird ein großartiges Event mit vielen fantastischen Menschen, MusikerI*nnen und natürlich, um die enthusiastische Arbeit an John Malkins Buch zu feiern.
Das weiß ich wirklich zu schätzen. Ich freue mich auch, weil es mein verdammter Geburtstag ist und ich bei meiner Rückkehr in die Musikwelt in einer Kirche singen werde. Was für eine Freude. Danke an alle, die das möglich machen! STAY WILD

Met John Malkin, the author of the book *PUNK REVOLUTION*, in July 2023 at an event in ZIONSKIRCHE-Berlin where Lesley Woods was among the performers. Now he’s published a new book, and I was able to contribute to it as well. It’s called *PUNK SPIRIT*. Thank you so much for that! That was exactly what I needed right then. Then he asked me if I wanted to play a few songs with CUT MY SKIN. Since I had broken up my band, I spontaneously asked a few friends, and they agreed right away. So after a difficult time, I’m really looking forward to taking part in this event on June 20, 2026, at the Zionskirche in Berlin.
Hell yeah, it’s going to be a great event with lots of fantastic people, musicians, and of course to celebrate the enthusiastic work on John Malkin’s book XXX
