The DK logo was originally created when East Bay Ray used 6 pieces of tape to put the initials ‘DK’ on his guitar, three for a triangle shaped ‘D’ and three for the ‘K.’
He then saw that the lines could be extended with a simple perpendicular line drawn down the middle and voilà, the classic four line DK logo outline was created.
