Saiu agora o 5º volume, que nos traz mais uma vez, grandes clássicos do universo pop internacional, em versão Punk, um verdadeiro petisco!!!

Vários Artistas - Punk Chartbusters Vol. 5

Benvindos ao QUINTO volume desta mitica compilação.

O conceito é simples : bandas de punk-rock, ska, rock'n'roll, HC, Rockabilly e tudo o que se inserir nestes estilos musicais pegam em cantigas conhecidas de bandas e - ou artistas conhecidos(as) de outros estilos e vertentes musicais ( mais a puxar para o POP e ROCK comercial e afins ) e dão-lhes uma nova roupagem.

O resultado é excelente, quanto não seja para se ver o quão abrangente o punk-rock é, e a forma em como neste estilo se conseguem transformar músicas aborrecidas em bons temas de punk-rock e afins.

Neste quinto volume o destaque ( que é dificil de atribuir num duplo-cd , com 51 versões de 51 bandas diferentes ... ) vai para 4 bandas alemãs - como a maior parte das bandas presentes.
Os 0 Eight 5Teens ( "White Flag", original da Dido ), para os Cueball ( "Viva Forever", das Spice Girls ), para os The Revolvers ( "Last Christmas", de George Michael" e para os Mofagang ( "Dragostea Diu Tei", dos famosos e um bocadinho ridiculos O-Zone ).Isto no CD 1.

No CD 2, o destaque vai para os também alemães Nevermind ( "Rama Lama Ding Dong", de Rocky Sharpe and The Replays ), para os Stoned Age, também germanicos ("All the things She Said, das Tatu), as holandesas The Riplets ( "Hey Mickey", de Toni Basil ) e para os americanos The Cheats ("Surrender", dos Cheap Tricks).

Para quem liga mais a bandas "conhecidas" do panorama punk-rock, participam os Nofx, os The Spook, os Die Toten Hosen, os Snuff e os Terrorgruppe.
