Novo documentário sobre a banda inglesa, pela visão e perspectiva do baixista original dos Pistols...
The film tells the story of the Sex Pistols' rise through the eyes of a founding member and key songwriter on Never Mind the Bollocks.
Based on Glen Matlock's memoir, the film follows Matlock’s journey as a key architect of the band’s sound and legacy.
It chronicles the Pistols’ rise through the eyes of a founding member and primary songwriter on Never Mind the Bollocks, shedding light on the punk movement, the social struggles of 1970s UK, internal band tensions, and Matlock’s often overlooked role in music history.
As co-writer of 10 out of 12 tracks on the band’s only studio album, Matlock’s contribution proved essential to their rise to global infamy.
The documentary features interviews with Matlock, Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, and drummer Paul Cook, and prominent figures from the punk scene including Billy Idol, Debbie Harry, Clem Burke, Chris Stein, Wayne Kramer, Rat Scabies, among others.
The documentary, directed by Andre Relis and Nick Mead, will be available starting May 26 via Prime Video and Apple TV.
