The Samples - "Dead Hero" foi lançado há 40 anos

Recorded a couple of months earlier at Cargo Studios in Rochdale with Colin Richardson behind the controls, the Dead Hero EP was released on this day in 1982. 

 

Some say the lead track is a classic - we were certainly happy with the results, so no arguments from us. 

 

For those of you at Rebellion next weekend, come along to see us at Club Casbah on Saturday at 3.50 - we just might treat you to a rip-roaring version of this! 

 

We'll be dedicating this song, in fact our entire set, to our singer Sean 'Badger' Taylor, who will be with us in spirit for this one x
