The Samples - banda continua após desaparecimento do vocalista

A banda formada em Worcester (Inglaterra) em 1978 publicou um comunicado, após a  morte do seu vocalista no passado dia 18 de Junho (ver essa notícia aqui)...

 

The Samples – Band Announcement 9th Aug 2021

 

 

“We have decided to move forward as a band after the shock of losing Sean in June. We all felt that we had unfinished business to attend to when putting the band back together and, though things can never quite be what they were, or what we wanted them to be, we know Sean would stand 100% with us on this. We’ll take his memory (and his lyrics) with us on the road – what better tribute could there be than to belt out his words from the stage? The Samples will continue as a 3-piece band (Dave, Paz and John) with Paz taking over lead vocal duties.

 

We need to get back on top of the gigs we had booked/rearranged so look for further updates here soon - at this stage, we expect to honour everything we had previously agreed to do, which includes kicking off proceedings in Worcester (Marrs Bar) on October 9th. All tickets previously bought are still valid. Fingers crossed that we can get things on the road, finally, this time!
