Rage Against Society - review ao novo disco "Reziestenza"

Mesmo no final de 2015, está disponível o novo disco da banda punk de Malta, Rage Against Society.

Depois do excelente "15 Years Of Kaos" (ver referências no blog clicando aqui), a banda optou por largar o inglês e interpretar todos os seus temas em maltês.

Em "Rezistenza", o punk rock forte e corrido, com veneno nas veias, continua todo lá.

As faixas são fortíssimas e a contestação é uma constante, ao longo de todo o disco.

Com um excelente arranque, as três faixas iniciais transmitem bem a essência da banda, com uma voz feminina robusta e poderosa (de relembrar que a banda convida frequentemente Patti Pattex dos alemães Cut My Skin para participar ao vivo e participou integralmente no disco anterior).

A linhagem não engana, o sentimento anarcopunk espelha-se verdadeiramente nos oito temas (mais um extra) e na imagem da edição do CD (da própria banda).

Os Rage Against Society são constituídos por Genzora Riot (baixo), Selene (na voz principal), Steve Lombardo (na bateria) e Ray il-Bahri (guitarra e coros).

O guitarrista e mentor da banda, Ray il-Bahri mencionou ao Billy News uma curta mas incisiva explicação sobre o álbum e as suas faixas...

some of the songs have been written during our first years of existence between 1995-1998. some where written recently.  

this is the first punk cd all in maltese language . the songs are about our concerns. 

1) Rezistenza is an instrumental song that prepare you for what are we going to say .

2) Mafia is about the political corruption that have been going on in malta these last 25 .years. 

3) Ribeljoini is about youth rebellion against the establishment and all those who think that they are superior to others. 

4) Ghaliex? is an anti hunting song. we believe that the birds should stay flying free not captive in cages or killed for the pleasure of one.  

5) il kappillan is a sarcastic criticism against the local church and the parish priest. 

6) BSB is a song about how hard life can be when you are living in poverty.  

7) Tikkonformax is a no conformity song. don't conform with the expired failed systems that the authorities impose on us .  

8) Frustrazzjoni is a song about a qualified university student full of degrees but who have'nt found the type of work that she studied for. so she is frustrated to work cheap labour for a living.

we are not expecting everybody to agree with us. 

these are our anarchist views and we hope that some people that will hear these songs will open their mind and resist the authorities so maybe one day we will change the living for the better.
