No próximo dia 28 de Outubro vai ser exibido pela primeiras vez este documentário da autoria de Kevin Wright com cerca de 90 minutos, no Rio Cinema Dalston em Londres (Inglaterra).
Beneath Brighton’s waves, a punk revolution erupted.
The Piranhas, The Depressions and Peter & The Test Tube Babies turned humour, mischief and music into a fiercely communal movement, centred around The Vault - an underground burial crypt transformed into a legendary gig venue.
Told through 15 years of interviews, performances and animation, Punk Brighton captures a scene that confronted fascism, rocked against racism and fought to save Brighton & Hove Albion.
Featuring Fatboy Slim, the film celebrates the city’s enduring DIY spirit and two figures who defined it: Attrix Records founder Rick Blair and The Piranhas’ irrepressible Bob Grover.
