Patti Pattex (Cut My Skin) - entrevista

É já no próximo Sábado, dia 3 de Março que os alemães Cut My Skin marcam a sua estreia em Portugal com um concerto que se vai realizar na Casa de Lafões (sala na Rua da Madalena, nº199 na Baixa, junto ao Rossio) em Lisboa, evento onde também participam os Crise Total.

O Billy News entrevistou a carismática vocalista Patti Pattex, colocando algumas questões sobre a banda e o concerto lisboeta. Vejamos o que ela nos disse.

Billy- Cut My Skin started in 2003, has three albums, some EP´s and a presence in several compilations. “Future Sold Out” is a great album, was released in 2010. Do you have some planes for a next edition? Have you played live some new songs?

Patti Pattex-

yeah we play new songs that are not recorded yet , actually we play 2 in lisboa. "CRUSH" is about the crush porn , where girls step on & crush small animals to death with their high heels or else torture for porn movies. I`ve been concerned about this issue for many years. There are more infos on my fb page. And "IN A ROW", it`s about slaughterhouse from theaniamal`s point of view. a new record is gonna appear, when we find a new drummer , since John unfortuanately has to quit. So we develop more new sonx & do the recording with this person to be more part of the band. As long nothing`s clear, we enjoy doing all the gigs with John very much XXX

Billy- By all these years, the band played in many countries, where is yours favorite cities or at least that you easily remember about the gigs that went very well?

Patti Pattex-

 oh i don`t know , it`s not possible to name all the cities where we had a great time & met cool people. In other countries it`s the same like germany. It always depends on how you get treated the minute when you arrive somewhere. Thats the kick to feel if people are on your wavelength & care about you and your concerns. Then mostly the rest is going easy. We made very good friends with people in france, belgium f.e

Billy- This will be your first time in Portugal with Cut My Skin, have you been here already?

We´re gonna give 100 % like always & hopefully have a strong punkrockparty, with people who share our concerns & have a lot of fun !!!!!!!
